Quirk
Anastasia's quirk allows her to absorb sound vibrations through specialised cells in her skin and inner ear which she can either use to boost her own energy, speed, strength or stamina or she can transfer that energy to another person in order to boost their physical abilities as well as quirks by kissing them. How much energy is transferred depends on the the length of the kiss and the level of contact from the kiss. A small peck on the cheek or the back of someone's hand might give them enough energy for a three minute boost but a lengthy full frontal kiss could transfer enough energy to boost them for up to two hours.
If Anastasia transfers or uses up too much energy using her quirk or is in an environment that is too quiet she looses energy more quickly and becomes highly fatigued to the point where she's sluggish and can barely stay awake. Also she is more vulnerable to vibrations that aren't caused by sound energy as her body is sensitive to them but can't absorb them.
Appearance
Anastasia is a short girl with a round, youthful face and an average build. She has light skin, blue eyes and midlength red hair that she often wears in a half up, half down style.
Outside of school she likes to wear brightly coloured clothes in a range of styles, depending largely on her mood.
Personality
As you might expect, Anastasia is loud and energetic. A people pleaser, she always takes the opportunity to showboat or play the fool in order to make people laugh. She'll often do impressions of or try to emulate the behaviour of the western and asian heroes that she adores to earn laughs and additionally can be regularly be caught singing in the hallways and courtyards to herself so that things are never too quiet.
She's also quite active and likes to participate in all manners of sports and tends to try and persuade other people to join in too. As one might expect, Anastasia is really friendly. She is inclusive of new people and has a habit of pestering more prickly or standoffish people in her attempts to befriend them, often coming off as childish or a bit of an airhead. With her classmates and friends she tends to be quite affectionate and always makes an effort to hype them up and in some cases hug them if they're comfortable with it.
Background
Anastasia was born and raised in the seaside town of Newquay, Cornwall. She lived with her parents, Eudora and Oleander Teague, and her four siblings; Arthur, Morgan, Lowell and her twin Dylan.
The family lived a comfortable, stable life with her parents having well paying jobs in the medical field, with her mother being a General Practitioner and her father being a pharmacist. And as all four of her brothers had happily opted to follow in their footsteps by entering the medical field in some capacity, for a long time it was assumed that Anastasia would too.
However from a young age Anastasia had developed a borderline obsession with heroes and would regularly try to mimic them. Like the rest of her family she wanted to help others but in a different way. She dreamed of being able to save others and becoming someone who was reliable and that others could turn to, to protect them when they were in danger.
When she finally confessed this to her family at thirteen, who up until that point, had thought she'd wanted to be a paramedic like her eldest brother, Arthur, agreed to support her.
They set out to help their youngest daughter achieve her dream by sending her to after school classes that would allow her to train and cultivate her quirk as well as attending workshops run by established heroes who were looking to scout for promising children who would make up the next generation of heroes. For close to two years she devoted herself to this and her ideals of helping others
That is how one particular hero, Black Mamba, who had come from Japan to work in the UK spotted her. Seeing her drive and commitment to helping others in addition to the potential of her quirk, he spoke to her parents and put in an official recommendation for her at his old hero school, Yuuei, and personally began training her both for the practical and written exams that she would need to take as well as in japanese so that she could study there.
The exam was as gruelling and competitive as she was lead to believe and, due to this she applied to several other UK based schools in case she didn't make it through the elimination process. However, much to her joy and disbelief, she was one of the four students who was able to enter the hero course on a recommendation that year.
Upon arrival, she was drafted into class 1-B where she remained for two years, training and bonding with her classmates. Although she still misses home she has grown more used to Japan and the experience has helped her grow and she hopes that it will continue to do so.
